Bathtime Battles!

If my three children do not get to bathe in a giant bath or semi-pool or half drum or outside in the rain, the announcement of bath time is met with severe resistance. 

For example:

Me: Hey guys, it’s time to bathe!

My children: To go where?

Apparently the only acceptable reason and motivation for getting cleaned up is if we’re leaving the house. I knew that🤨.

Then there is this excuse:

Me: It’s time to go bathe!

Child: (Weeping profusely as if to suggest imminent torture…🙄) But I’m not dirty, I’m CLEAN!

I guess having a bath or shower in a proper bathroom is just old! (Note to self – get with the times!🤷🏽‍♀️)
