On another mom-children sojourn with my parents, it happened that the children’s grandparents went out of the house.
My youngest daughter seemed to suddenly notice that we were the only ones in the house and said:
“Grandma and grandpa are gone. Now we are all by ourselves.”
My son was quick to comfort her:
“God is with us, you know!”
Then, my youngest daughter responded:
“Oh. I’d best remember that!”
Sweet moments like this…I’m glad I was in earshot to be blessed by this lovely conversation 🤗!
